Pynchon mention (re Emily Barton)

This review of Barton's *The Testament of Yves Gundron* devotes a little
space to Pynchon's blurb and "Is It O.K. to Be a Luddite?"  Am I the only
one who feels a little uncomfortable with the reviewer's interpretation of
the latter ("Pynchon's answer to that question was, in essence, yes...")?
