Well, my shot would be: his "schlemeilhood,"  (basically, the very thing 
that Myrtle hates) and in this context it would be his "Glozing Neuterness." 
  But these answers are too short and deserve more work.

I've got this conception of these four as a mandala, like the four F's of 
the swastika.  Myrtle would be opposite Slothrop, and Marcel would be 
opposite Maximillian.
