And, don't forget McLuhan. The medium is (at least part of) the message.
Endorsement of the ideas automatically and unequivocally legitimises the
medium in which they have been expressed. Violence will only beget violence.
This, also, is the lesson of history. It is not Liberté, Egalité et
Fraternité which are perpetuated, but the very Reign of Terror itself.
