In Weisenburger there is brief mention of Cuxhaven as the place where
captured V2s were experimented with but I don't have a copy 
availbable. In _The Rocket and the Reich_ by Michael J. Neufeld it
says that that in Operation Backfire the British launched three V2s from
the North Sea coast in October 1945. 

Jessica is sent over to Cuxhaven to participate in the operation. There is
discussion of Jessica believing Them--that the War is over, and now there
is the Peace. Roger does not accept this.
