Cool, that's the one, but I think you cut off the sentences in which Jung
addresses the I Ching as an alternative that imposes no conditions and is
hence incomprehensible.  Either that or it's someplace else in the book.

He goes on to point out that the commentaries are based on all manner of
human philosophic intervention and that the whole procedure is not amenable
to statistical analysis.  The context for the quote is Jung's desire to find
"a method which would on the one hand demonstrate the existence of
synchronicity and, on the other hand, disclose psychic contents which would
at least give a clue to the nature of the psychic factor involved." (p. 450)
Thus, his critiques of the I Ching in this essay are limited to its
usefulness as part of such a method, not its comprehensibility in a general
sense.
