I don't agree that their freedom of speech was violated when they got canned. 
 When a historian makes claims like Nolte (or that dumbass in Great Britain) 
that is a sign of incompetence in his profession.  If your profession 
involves speaking your mind, and you say stupid things (however elaborate), 
then isn't that grounds for termination?
