If in Melrose, why should we do what the Cajuns do?  A-and Real Cajuns don't 
eat on Bourbon Street (nor does anyone with any sense).  Sorry to be so 
literal, s~Z, but I live there, and this LA place, though I've never been, 
REALLY helps me understand Pynchon's use of the term "pornography."
