Please help me for my assignment

Let me introduce myself.
My name is Toshiyuki Sakabe. I live in Sapporo, Japan and teach 
English.

Now I'm working on my master's. One of classes I'm taking is 
Comparative Litrerature between America and Japan. For the 1st 
term assignment I have to read Thomas Pynchon's The Crying of 
Lot 49. Then write about concrete and abstract meanings of 
Tristero. And also I need to study correlaton between Oedipa's 
research of Tristero and decipherment of the text using some key
 words such as conspiracy and plot.

The book is too complicate to understand. I have hard hard time 
to grasp details. I need somebody to help me. Somebody to give 
me advice.

Right now I'm reading it, and writing down my opinion, thoughts,
 questions, etc. Can you be my helper or adviser for this 
project? I hope you can.
