For nonsports fans a reminder that the Henry Adams segment comes up on CSpan2 in an hour. Incidently there was a sort of lame Pynchon reference on the program just now. A group of book reviewers was asked if they thought Pynchon would last and the only answer was I hope not, for the sake of the arms of readers. Oh well. P.
