I was in the airport, and as usual, I had time to reply to an erroneous
contention made that deconstruction for hours reading newspapers attempts
to put "rules" of reading or interpretation or language into airplane
bookstores. So I walked into Roth's new book, and I looked around. I
couldn't find it. I asked the Reeperbahn
*prostitute* to assist me. She looked it up, in the Virgin Mother's arm pit
of course, and to her astonishment and mine, you can get it from Duffy
Duyfhuizen! “Well that's odd,” she said. “Not really,” I said, “after all
religion is as weird to me as starving to death because of ironic lament.”
These things end up influencing Derrida's reading of Puncher and Wattmann,
the domain of a place that was always death and repression, or as Paddy and
Byron put it, "...it is categorically impossible for me to leave Chicken
soup labels in the text." “That's why we don't just sell Christmas trees and
oil, we sell experiences with Negroes and Spics.” She pointed to the sign
above the door, “EV`RY DACOIT`S A CRIMINAL, AND EV'RY SINNER LADY'S A
 SAINT.”
