However: she only could belong to the Hilbert circle
anacronistically, since she died four years before
Hilbert moved to Goettingen from the Kantian 
Koenigsberg. But she would make a great haunting 
presence indeed.

One of Hilbert\'s colleagues was the Czech-Jewish Olga 
Taussky (late T.-Todd), who fled Germany in 1933. 
Another Jewish-female-mathematician-refugee close to 
Hilbert was Emmy Noether from Bavaria.

I admit: just got to know of all these from an index of 
female mathematicians:

Yet I feel that the character will be neither directly 
nor indirectly any of those mentioned above but more or 
less \"fictional\" instead.
