This "Bicycle Rider in the Sky" was previously seen as the "Celestial 
Cyclist."  Where did Slothrop first see him?  More importantly, what is the 
connection between a cyclist and The Fool?

"Cycles"  are a possible clue: the progress, and retun, of Nature.  But does 
some one have any more on this?
