still have two volumes of his writings in my library that have been
sitting there probably from fifty or so years ago when the guy was in
fantastic vogue. You couldn't sit through a graduate seminar without some
smart  alec jumping up to say "Of course Max Weber told us many years ago
that . . . "

I'm speaking figuratively of course. Always avoided graduate seminars like
the plague.
