Howdy
Not much of a *thesis* really, was it? More in the line of a *line*.
But how about: a charming, "innocently" murderous selfishness, and a
conviction that *he* was right and traditional superincumbent authority
(the Church) was wrong. Both of these points are assailable: most
supremely powerful executive politicians, under just about any
political sytem, are probably charming killers; and too many in the
U.S., as elsewhere in a world everywhere in reaction to the crisis of
modernism, seek to reestablish the authority of a superincumbent
religious tradition... American perhaps in his vulgarity, his avarice,
his exhibitionism... Donald Trump in an embroidered bullet proof vest,
tights and pointy shoes?
