I have a really simple question: Why is Stencil pursuing V through this
group of characters at this time and place? Seeing that his father was
associated with this group, why would Stencil focus his attention on an
interlude in which his father was absent? I take it that this is just prior
to Porpetine's death. I guess that's the answer to my question, but this
seems a very arbitrary way to track V. Are there other connections I'm
missing?
