one aspect of the novel i dont hear much is V as a
downward-pointing arrow.  The novel I feel points
towards the dehumanization of society, and the
downward pointing arrow imagery spurns from the first
chapter when Profane looks at the street lights in a
downward-pointing arrow shaped like a V pointing
towards the East (or West, I don't have the text with
me at the time).  What does everyone else think?
