As long as we're on the subject of inanimate objects, happy birthday to my
fellow Libras (dob 14-Oct, btw).

Yes, this is PR (Pynchon Relevant), as Pynch-lit is so caught up in
Astrology and such spooky-kooky stuff. Anybody else ever notice that Libra
is the only inanimate sign? What's with that? My theory, completely
unverified, is that October, being the harvest month, was seen as "pivotal."
