Greetings Blues Fans,

Shemekia Copeland continues to garner some great press and word of mouth
reviews of her new release WICKED and her dynamic live shows. She wowed
`em at the San Francisco Blues Festival causing headliner Keb' Mo' to
comment
that "I brought my toolbox to see if I could put things back together
after Shemekia tore the place down."

***Now it's your chance to get up close and personal with Shemekia
Copeland as she appears on NPR's Weekend Edition tomorrow. Shemekia will
appear on National Public Radio's (NPR) Weekend Edition on the morning of
Saturday, October 7. The
segment, which will include both an interview with Copeland and a live
performance with her band, is currently scheduled to air 40 minutes into

hoping for the best.
