MDMD: The Next Transit of Venus

I went to Amazon and it claims Clerc's book was out July 2000
and takes 3-5 weeks to ship -- but I thought I read on the list
that it had been delayed. I did find two other M&D books, though:

"Drawing the Line: How Mason and Dixon Surveyed the Most Famous
Border in America" by Edwin Danson, due December 8, 2000 from
John Wiley & Sons.

"Walkin' the Line" by William Ecenbarger, available since May
from M. Evans and Company, Inc.

btw, is charles clerc's "mason & dixon & pynchon", which was
to be published in september, already out & has anybody taken
a look inside? kfl
