Yes,

Red Stick does not lie.

We three strangers extended our bounds and were rewarded.  In addition to 
the pleasure of this wonderful city, we got to see and hear some of the real 
bodies and souls (our three) beyond these posts.  I talked w/ kai about his 
love for his high-school philosophy teacher, and will be forever jealous.   
Frodeaux let out some wonderful insider Louisiana political insights, and I 
learned that I'd better read "Absalom, Absalom" before we next meet.  Jane 
(your stranger, but only one degree from F.) charmed us all without ever 
really talking of Pynchon even as we bored her to death with our P-list 
"gossip."  One thing I know they both learned:  I'm a lucky man!
