Now, you see, either I just let this slide, and Someone here at least presumes I
do so by virtue of being in the wrong, or ... well, first off, do note, I don't
sling insults around ("troll," "even the"). You've only "entertained" that
reading only after apparently deriding it (as you still do) a couple of times
now, "vehemently," if not necessarily "hysterically" (a word I'll hold in reserve
for more pathological behaviors ...). "Might," "I've seen," "of late." Do
note those qualifiers there (though, really, do I HAVE to point that out? Again,
this is wearisome ... but hey, I was, am, and will reamin impressed. Why sould
that matter to you?). And no "cliques" here? Well, I don't even feel the need
to contradict that on screen. Will merely wait ... but, hey, thanks for your
interest, although a closer reading might have yielded that I don't think a
classroom should be run the way this list seems to operate of late, rather than
vice versa. Again, just an intuition about some of the regulars I've
encountered, in particular, you. I'm still astounded by the time some have to
devote to this--the reading time I lose alone ... or the posting time tonight.
And I thought you were encouraging me to post on that Toiletship. Can't imagine
teaching, reading, grading, researching, writing, attending all the meetings,
maybe eating, sleeping, a little extracurricular activity of whatever stripe, AND
posting prolifically here. Then again, it's summer, who knows ... but I might
yet be proven wrong, so ....
