First of all, my dear, my name is a completely normal and boring German name. 
Kurt was the name of my father, Werner was the son of my grandmother who died 
as a baby, and Pörtner maybe is related to "Pförtner" which means gatekeeper. 
Nothing secret behind it, I must disappoint you.
The other thing: as Otto already posted, I was not in the mood yesterday. I 
know such "flame wars" already from German mailing-lists, and sometimes I'm 
nerved by such stuff. But nothing against you personally.
