Substitute "jbor" for what's being written about Doug
here, and you've pretty much got my less enjoyable
experiences here over the past year here.  Otherwise,
my most tenacious challengers, on or offlist, have
long since become my closest friends here (if I might
use that term, if one can use that term in such
attenuated relationships).  

Which is not to say they still don't challenge me at
every turn ...  

But I will note for the record that, your harangues
against Doug aside here, Mr. D (if I may call you
that), I've always found interesting, and often agreed
with, your otherwise all-too-rare posts.  And I see
you've posted an excpetionally interesting (agreeable,
we'll see ...) reading of Gravity's Rainbow.  But I'm
on the fly here, so ...
