It's hard to know whether Matt C. Abbott of Chicago has his
tongue in cheek when he writes to the NY Times today. The text of
his letter, in full:

>I am relieved that the House of Representatives has voted to ban >human cloning (front page, Aug. 1), because human cloning — like >abortion, contraception, pornography, in vitro fertilization and >euthanasia — is intrinsically evil and thus should never be >allowed. 

I suppose probably not, sigh.
