I liked Memento a lot when I first watched it, and it grew on me
a bit over the next couple of weeks. Someone was complaining to
me last night that the filmmakers did not allow you to watch the
movie in any way except their own, which seems like it might be a
valid complaint, I'm not sure. If you want to look at the
archives of Salon (www.salon.com), a few weeks ago somebody wrote
a very detailed analysis of the plot that made fairly good
reading.

Just back from watching Ghost World, just a wonderful movie,
recommend it very highly. Also saw a trailer for a horror film
that looked just awful called "Jeepers Creepers", which looked
like it might be an homage to "Night of the Living Dead" FWIW.
