Is is implication being put forward here that before Time magazine does its
cover story a phenomonom is simply too cutting edge for Pynchon readers to be
aware of ?

If so we should indeed  be grateful that Lot49 clued us into LSD
experimentation a full year before Time got around to the task.

Forgive me, Doug, but you are engaged once more in a familiar pattern. You
can't demonstrate the point you would like so you busily try to domontrate some
completely different  and quite unrelated point.
