Okay, thanks, at least for myself, perhaps even for
Doug, and definitely for those who, reluctant to be
caught up in onlist hostilities, simply do not speak
up about these recurrent shenanigans (and I believe
this is indeed a "silent majority" here).  We ALL have
better, more productive things to do.  

But on the other hand (one which giveth, one which
taketh away) ...

Taking that one last shot isn't really in the spirit
of improving onlist relations now, is it?  Indeed,
this is precisely what's kept hostilities going to the
ludicrous degree they have been (e.g., the recent,
frayed thread on LSD with which y'all played
tug-of-war here recently), this inability to go
without having the last word, and insults aren't even
a desperate last resort here, typically enetring into
the process (cf. "trial") early on.  And none of us is
innocent in that regard, although some are more
covert, more passive in their aggression than others
...

Okay, I've said my obligatory bit again, and, having
so little time and so much I want to get to ...
