col 49: who's mad?

To spell it out: 

In the Short Stories and V. there is no LSD

In CL49 there is LSD but no CIA.

In GR there is both LSD and CIA, but 
while we are free to connect them, I don't
recall where. ??

In VL, we have both, but, and although in VL
P does nothing much to  obscure the targets
of his satire, naming THEM clearly, I don't think we
can connect LSD to the CIA. 

Surely not in M&D.
