Hollander's Varo/Varro

Wood Jim,  do you plan to publish an article that pulls together your
ever-expanding critique of Hollander?  Not that I mind the way it's coming
out in dribs and drabs, you seem to have quite a bit to say about what he
does and doesn't do or try to do and all sorts of stuff, but it's a bit
difficult to follow, and virtually impossible to respond to in any
meaningful way. I've heard this particular critique of Hollander's
Varo/Varro connection before, and I still don't see why it's so difficult to
accept, but every reader has her shot after all.  We've been down this
"genre" thread in excruciating detail before, too, and it's still not clear
what point you're trying to make.
