written letters to a girl (name
Jenny?), written with red ink.

For those mastering French: two years ago French novelist Bernard Morlino wrote a nice novel (Les
Fantômes de Nerval)
about this really weird figure who went to walk with a lobster in the streets of Paris -- for which
he has my eternal sympathy.
