"Whether he turned out to be right or wrong [is] neither here nor there..." 
isn't a wise judgement when you consider when and where he made this 
statement:  Pakistan about 2 weeks ago.  Remember when everyone feared 
Pakistan was an Islamicist powder keg?  He almost seemed to court our 
defeat/disaster.  I wonder why (not really).
