Just finished GR....

That's funny, I was disappointed all the way up until the end. I mean, it
didn't all come streaming logically together or anything, but who cares. He
stuffed a man dressed in white bridal lace into a rubberized rocket cavity
and lit him off to the north. How's that for illustrating the perversity of
war, eh? Made quite an impression on me. After that who cares what
happened to Slothrop.
I did wonder too what the Schwartzkommando were gonna do with their rocket,
though. But hey, there's plenty of rockets around the world nobody uses. We
just keep them and stockpile them and pray to them like Power gods too. See
how well the Empires teach their colonial subjects? Like perverted father,
like perverted son.
