Suggestions

I want to thank you guys (Terrance, Otto, Dave) for the suggestions, I will definitely pass them on to my friend.  Hopefully she can read up and not be deterred.  Pynchon is really an addiction, at least for me.  Dave- good idea about NY Times review.  You're right, not entirely great but I love it, especially the description of "saturnalian density of his prose".  Those words belong together.
Again, thanks for your (seemingly endless) resources and help.
