The Insect Trust album is also reviewed in Robert Christgau's "Rock Albums
of the 70s: A Critical Guide", and he also mentions Pynchon as a "guest
composer". He gives the record an "A" grade, which with me and this very
reliable critic means it is at least worth a listen. Unfortunately, as far
as I know it is long deleted, and almost impossible to track down. I'd love
some eccentric in the bowles of Rhino Records to re-issue it as a CD so I
can get my ears on the thing.
