Some of you may be interested in this book. Just as some scholars
see GR, and other Pynchon works, in the context of environmental
thinking that was widespread while Pynchon was writing, others might
see his treatment of drugs (L.S.D. mentioned in GR, for example) in
the context of what people were saying about them at the time. Your
mileage may vary, of course.
