OT: Paris

hello all-

i'm leaving soon for a semester in france- wondered if anyone on list had
suggestions on where to go, what todo during ten idle days in paris. 
plan to check out a few of breton's favorite places, but welcome any
other suggestions for literary landmarks, or other diversions that an
american might not think to look for on their first trip.  offlist
