	- Visit the Pompidou Centre (its free on the first Monday of the
month)
	- ignore Shakespeare & Co. Bookshop, a waste of time.

	- I also recommend A visit to the Conservatoire des Arts et
Metiers, and the Pantheon (If only to see Foucault's Pendulum).

	Recommend a visit to "Le palais du Facteur Cheval", its about 20km
from Grenoble but well worth the effort, its a whole world built out of
shells and little bits that he picked up on his route. Sounds naff. It
isn't.
