Dunno what Barth did but my favorite professor over here did "Chimera," "The
Crying of Lot 49" and "Gravity's Rainbow," what I had read only in the
translation before that course. Apart from the ones who had done Barth too
or the ones who simply had to stay for study-reasons none of the other
students stayed after the initial sessions of GR and so we were a nice group
of ten students for the rest of the semester.
