Paranoid Charlie Too White

I think a familiarity with the late Charles Schulz's
"Peanuts," rather than the great American wastetime,
would be more useful here. Anybody else here
disppointed that Charlie Brown never actually got to
kick that ball Lucy always pulled away at the last
moment? At least in lieu of that unsatisfying final
strip (which, eerily, but fittingly, ran the morning
after CS died)? This was hotly deabted issue among
those who care (and who oftn did not keep cool),
apparently. Brother against brother, a house divided
... but only, as they say, in America, perhaps. Not
so sure that P-mint Patty quote is quite a
citationfrom CS, but ... but I share your hermeneutic
anxieties, kai, and we are no doubt not alone here ...
