Signed Pynchon - last chance

So, it's the last chance to get a signed Pynchon book now.
Only 1,200 dollars on ebay at the moment (# 1448772052) - a signed M&D.
Signature *looks* genuine. Julian Books demands $25,000 for the only
other copy available - donated to young Jackson Pynchon's
church-affiliated school.
So it's a bargain. 
Only one thing that puzzles me - if it's the real thing, why don't all
the big antiquarian bookstores bid on it?

So perhaps someone makes a lot of money in a few minutes. And perhaps
someone discovers how easy it is to copy a signature.
