i'm not sure what you expect out of the list. i've been subscribed for years
and this whole time there has been bickering. not just bickering but the
same fights over and over. but, in addition to that there has been some of
the greatist conversations on pynchon i have ever witnessed and been able to
participate in. offlist, i dont think i know 3 other people that have heard
of pynchon much less read him. but,  we are all people here. we fight, goof
off, and sometimes do something productive. to expect this to be some type
of 24/7 workshop or classroom is unfair. my suggestion is to relax.
