I wish I had the time, energy and patience to take it
on myself, but ... but I certainly do sympathize.
I've lost pretty much half my immediate family myuself
in the past few weeks, either through death or, less
drastically but no less painfully, litigation, and,
while I ultimately decided to use my hosting stint as
something to distract myself with, I know well now
just how difficult it can be. The sheer time alone,
not to mention a certain overwhelming sense of
responsibility. I ended up spending eleven hours in
bed today, having planned on only five or six. But
I've no doubt that, even if someone doesn't come
forward, we will have no difficulty generating
discussion of "Mondaugen's Story." But I was really
looking forward to your hosting, your webiste has been
of immense interest and illumination, a-and not only
on Pynchon. Do everyone see ...
