Important -- V. Reading!!!

The ultimate reason I won't pick up the baton here is
that we pretty much know, via that letter rept. in
Seed, The Fictional Labyrinths of ..., precisely what
he read as research, and I don't have page one of it. 
What we need is someone with a valid Seattle Public
Library Card .... but, hey, coherent overview,
shmoherent shmoverview, I say.   'Preferences,'
shmeferences--who badmouths the host at a party?  Or
on his own talkshow?  Okay, Cher aside ... and ... and
am eagerly awaiting the addition of the Samuel Beckett
wing, feel fee to invite me to the Grand Opening.  in
the meantime, happy Birthday, Sully Prudhomme, Nobel
Laureate No. 1!  Anybody ever actually read this guy?
