Ok, but the story usually has those who want to do away with the Badass and 
those who cheer him on.  He is not "universally admired by men," even though 
he may be just what the doctor ordered for the repressed id.  And Terrance's 
quoting the passage from P's essay over and over again does not clarify this 
point.
