Both had to do with the recruitment of academia and science to assist in
project win the war, only in P's comic version the idea was to use some kind
of crazy mind conditioning and spiritualism instead of the very practical
ability of being able to read the enemy's mail.

Think I first came across "Bletchley Park" in the 1983 biography of Alan
Turing. It may well have been publicized earlier however.
