Well, Mr. Ulaynov was 15 or so years into the afterlife or void when the axe
hit the cranium. Although one could argue this was only a continuation of
Leninism, I do not believe the historical record shows that Joe and Vlady
were on the same page. In fact, some say that it was Joe who helped the man
into and early grave, and there is little doubt that Stalin certainly began
to prepare to seize the organs of state early into the post revolution/civil
war period so that he squeezed Leon out before Trotsky knew it. Of course, as
Napoleon is reputed to have said, "History is a pack of lies agreed upon."
A-and forgive me my sin-icism, but maybe V. I. wasn't corrupt because he died
young, as in only the good....
