VV reading schedule

Aw, hell. This is truly distressing news, as I was
really looking forward to "Jane" et al.'s hostessing
with the mostessing of a chapter which'll require far
stronger Graves/Yeats/whatever fu than I'll be able to
muster (though there is a nifty chapter on "Byzantium"
in Mario Praz's The Romantic Agony which has proven
suggestive ...). I do hope that this reading of V. is
not (ironically?) dying on the vine (by the way, when
we do get through--or perhaps at least back to--V., I
would not mind taking up Vineland or Mason & Dixon
...). I haven't had much time myself of late, but
things'll settle down to some extent here after this
week, and I'm looking forward to another week behind
the desk come Chapter 14. This all has been typically
helpful, often constructive, and, more often than not,
even enjoyable for me so far. Kinda sorta itching to
get back into the business now, even ... but, hey, do
check in, and rejoin if/when you can ...
