It's a pity the archives now hide people's addresses--or is it just my old
browser?

Anyway, Dave?: I took the bait and dug up a copy of Lance olsen's _Burnt_:
guess what? No Pynchon blurb, though there is one by Thomas Kennedy. Were you
goofing on us, or might the novel come  in different flavors? It's not nice to
fool obsessive bibliographers.
