There are several people who would like to do a fast COL49, I think, once we
finish with V. After that, maybe August 1, we should start something like
we have for V., only a bit faster pace, for M&D. What are there... Three
Sections divided into 60 or so chapters overall... Why not take three a
week and do this book over four months. Personally I would like to condense
these final chapters of V. We are already skipping ahead to chapters 15 and
16 in our discussions because it has become difficult to have conversations
about characters such as Paola without doing so at this point. I'd be happy
to post my notes to chapter 16 (I am signed up for VV(19)) about three or so
days after Dave posts his for VV(18) if we want to get some excitement back
into this discussion. I am sort of new to this list (January) and may be
speaking out of turn (let me know) but the discussion of V dies for a week
at a time... I am kind of anxious to get to the end so that we can discuss
plot and characters without sidestepping events in later chapters.

Anyone? Sam
