propaganda?

At least Znet, alternet.org, Pacific News, etc. let readers know its
articles are commentaries and opinion pieces and not hard news. Unlike
CNN, Fox, and the rest of the corporate media, which offer up 24/7 news
coverage seamlessly blended with government propaganda and relentless
advocacy of US government opinion. CNN just went through a very public
process of ordering that reports of civilian casualities in Afghanistan be
"balanced" with US government propaganda claims. As corporate media
executives -- Bloomberg and his ilk to come -- take political office, it
will be necessary to watch the development of this nexus of corporate media
and government propaganda even closer.
